When I applied for this opportunity, I thought it might be a good thing. As books arrived, blogs started, friend requests appeared from across the country, and Twitter followers increased in number, I suspected it might be more than a good thing. When I arrived and met other teachers who shared the same love of journalism as I do, I was certain I had made a good choice. But when I arrived and saw this, I knew I had made it. Kathryn Burkholder
