How do you post a personal video?

 I found a video from YouTube to put in here.  It's about interviewing.  Actually I think what we have learned at the Institute is better, but I can't get my personal video to download.  Do you have to save it in a different format or change the file size?  I was just wondering because I tried it several times unsuccessfully. 

Then I was going to download a video from a student that I was really impressed with.  She shot it on our Journalism Washington DC trip a few years ago.  But that made we wonder:  What are we legally allowed to post?  Would I need to ask her first?  I realized how much I don't know about this multi-media stuff. 

So this was actually my third choice.  That brings me to another question.  How do you guys find really cool video clips of relevant things to show your kids?  What are your ideas there? 

I am hoping to talk to people about this tomorrow.  I appreciate your help!
