Robbing Alan Weintraut

I am going to rob Alan Weintraut. Don't call the police.

Here are a few things that will be happening in LangloisWorld come August 2013:

1. Buckets of other schools' newspapers. I love this idea. I might even get on Pinterest to find cute ways to decorate it. What better way to compare your paper with other papers than, well, using other papers? Wonderful idea. I think I might make this a weekly thing...read-arounds of the competitors...what are they doing right? What are they doing wrong? What can we learn?

2. Mailboxes for each staff member. I might even use it for weekly treats if they have been good little children.

3. The Box O' Good Ideas. Wonderful drop box idea for inspirational stuff. Again, another Pinterest opportunity for yours truly. Hello, July projects!

4. Newspaper Stands. Genius. I need $150. Now. Well worth the money.

Thanks, Alan Weintraut. Robbing you has been awesome. Now where is your wallet?

  1. One of my favorite lines ever heard at most workshops in regards to becoming a better adviser, "It takes a thief."

Thanks for the tour of your classroom, Alan.
