Bossy Boss

Highlighting the relationship we have with our boss as the most important relationship we have in the workplace AND being aware that most bosses know only 20 percent of what their subordinates know were the key points of Kristin's discussion today.

It made me understand their fears and our defenses more as and when we are faced with difficult situations. It's a bit scary, too.

My students are my number one focus. I've always worked from the ground up rather than the top down when working to see them succeed.

Kristin's perspective is on protecting them through saving us.

I love her belief that to deal with conflict effectively there must be a level of respect and a willingness to communicate. I liked how she summarized, "To get regard, you must give back great regard."
