Randy Lovely Interview
What a great experience. Mr Lovely was a good speaker with a lot of interesting and relevant things to say about the state of journalism today. I learned today to listen and only take notes about interesting things rather than struggling to write it all down. The article writing experience was an eye opener. While I can whip out a sample AP Lang sample essay in no time, this was a struggle. I did take Steve's advice and typed up all my quotes and then tagged the one's that related to each other. That is how I found my angle. I hope it was a good one. I am looking forward to comments from Steve even though I hate red.

I totally agree with you Lisa. Randy answer the questioons flawlessly. I did jot down a few quotes, but mostly observed & absorbed the words as well. I'm excited about the upcoming speakers too!

I think you and I learned the same lesson. I wrote like crazy, recorded like crazy, and then realized I only wanted information for my story's focus. Sifting through all of it was nuts. It was a great experience.
