I learned so much about doing video today! I liked my team: Eva, Jessica, and Elizabeth. I learned a lot by actually doing it. Eva gave us some great tips, and she let us all practice videoing. While we were doing it, she let us know what we were doing right and what to do differently. Here is a picture of one of the guys I interviewed.

This is Paul Steele, chief chef of a new restaurant called Phoenix Public Market Cafe. He was fun to interview.

Laurie,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found my tips useful. The most important thing is to not be afraid of shooting video. Getting permission to record in certain places is a great hurdle to overcome, and you and Jessica handled that very well! Remember shot variety! A lot of deciding what to shoot comes from observing your surroundings and discovering what you're seeing with your own eyes before navigating with the one-eyed monster (camera). It was so much fun!
