Hot Topics: 2013

Greeting from Cane Hill, Arkansas. I've finally managed to post an entry. Can't wait to find out more about teaching journalism. My Westville, OK students taught me a lot this year. I've been busy playing catch-up on web design and video production. Finally, this course is forcing me to learn social media. My Facebook name is Cane Hill, an account I set up to promote a local non-profit. I do not have a personal Facebook. Kids love it, but it is blocked on school computers and the newspaper does not do Facebook. My students set up blogs, but we used Google Docs and Wiki.
