End of year musings

Well, it's officially mid-May, even though my husband and I turned the heat back on yesterday afternoon - only in Ohio can the weather require someone to utilize both the air conditioning and the heat in a 48-hour period.

Aside from the weather, we put the final issue of the newspaper to bed today and had senior banquet at Buca di Beppo tonight.  My seniors' last day is Friday (the same day we distribute Issue 8, with its infamous Senior Wills page and almost 6 pages of absolute fluff, regardless of how I beg and plead for substantial content).

The end, it seems, is in sight...which means that I can stop stressing about this year and really get excited about next fall.  And, of course, 103 degree Phoenix weather - no additional heat required.
